Machu Picchu trek for Worldwide Cancer Research, 24 August 2015
We start new cancer cures worldwide to ensure no life is cut short by cancer

Story

Hi Everyone,

Next August I will be taking on the challenge of trekking around the ancient Inca site of Machu Picchu, in Peru. Alongside other Exeter University students, I will be travelling through a variety of ecosystems and altitudes. We will start the trek in Cusco and walk for 7 days, camping overnight. We will travel along mountain paths and through jungles, until we reach the ruins of Machu Pichu.

I am doing this trek in aid of Worldwide Cancer Research, which funds and supports scientific research into cancer prevention. As this is something that touches all of us at some point in our lives, I would love to contribute towards their amazing work.

Over the next few months I will be organising various fundraising events and collections in order to reach my target of £3000. In the meantime, I would be very grateful if you could support me in this worthwhile cause.

Beatrice xx
