Story

**EDIT - after many cancellations last year due to bad weather we have our new date!! 19th May 2024!!**

We (Dan, Cara, Kim and Meg) will be jumping out of a plane at the dizzying height of 15,000ft to raise money for Animals in Distress!

Animals in Distress exists to alleviate pain, suffering and distress in animals as well as to promote animal welfare practices and responsible pet ownership. We are fortunate to have this wonderful local charity, who work tirelessly to provide the best care, safety, love and appropriate veterinary treatment to hundreds of animals, as well as find them suitable and loving 'fur'ever homes.

COVID-19 has posed a huge threat to the sustainability of the UK’s dog and cat rescue sector; the financial impact of the pandemic has been a major concern for the Charity. This is why, now more than ever, we are proud to support the integral work and services that this charity provides.

If you are able to show support with a donation to our page, we would greatly appreciate it; every little bit helps! This is how your very kind donations can help support the vital work of this charity:

  • £2 could help buy a flea treatment for one of the animals in their care.
  • £5 would feed one of the animals for a whole week.
  • £10 could provide a blanket, toys and a tasty treat for one of the animals in their care.
  • £20 would help towards the increasing veterinary costs for emergency surgery, vaccinations and spaying.

Animals in Distress are driven by the love of pets and the impact they have on our lives, and as such we are proud to give back to this charity, for all that it has given all of us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
