I hope that is true because my body has wanted to quit already during training! Neil and I have done some tough slogs for charity before but this will undoubtedly be the toughest yet, mentally and physically. 26.2 miles over very harsh terrain from Glencoe Village to the foot of Ben Nevis. We are under no illusions as to how hard this will be. Joining us are brother in law Gregor Stark and his mate Jamie. No one else could be persuaded, funny that! 

It's 25 years this year since I lost my mother to cancer and we had been supporting our mother in law Gill in her recent fight against it until recently when tragically we lost her also, in July this year. Such a cruel turn of events but the timing seemed apt to give all we can to give a little back to those who are helping at the heart of local communities. The Maggies Centres are such a valuable resource in all fights against cancer so please consider donating whatever you can. This current situation would have been so much tougher without the care, love and support given by Maggies. A huge incentive to think what can be achieved with more funding. Gill was very supportive of us wanting to do this, and in her memory we are now more determined than ever to push our limits and do her proud. 

Training is well under way, 6 months of it in total before October. I can guarantee blood, sweat and probably tears will be shed, all that has to be worth a few quid, please give what you can. Thank you!!
