I am Chief Executive for Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.  An earlier career in the Army taught me how fortunate I have been to keep my limbs through a number of conflicts.  My knees are a bit tired but this does not compare with the life changing effect of traumatic limb loss.  Blesma supports its people through life, for life, to assist independence and fulfilment, and is the expert Service charity on living with limb loss, has been since World War One.  This challenge is a privilege.
