Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have foolishly (and against all sound judgement) agreed to partake in Tough Mudder 2014 which from what I can gather appears to be some form of legalised torture event in Dalkeith on 14 June 2014.

Whilst I have been told this will be "fun" my main reason for enrolling in this madness was to raise funds to help the fight against Cancer in memory of my dad who passed away as a result of this terrible disease nearly 4 years ago now at the age of 66.

I know I am not alone, there doesn't seem to be a week goes by without someone we either know or love being blighted by this horrible disease and therefore we must continue the fight against it to ultimately find a cure but in the interim at least improve the available treatments available and quality of life for those affected by cancer right now.

One day we will succeed and every little amount helps so thanks for any donations big or small  - It will almost make the wading through iced water and electric shocks bearable!!
