Story
Hi Guys, I am doing a 12,000ft skydive as part of Team100 Make Today Count, an initiative by local fundraising group Leap for Luke, who are attempting to get 100 people from across the country to take to the skies in February 2017, to create awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and to raise funds.
I am skydiving in support of 5 year old Luke O'Hanlon who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. By being part of Team100 I am hopeful that I can help Luke and his family and also other families in the UK and Ireland to one day gain access to drugs that could add years to their lives and the lives of other sufferers.
Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for 70,000 people living with muscle-wasting conditions. They are making a difference today, providing vital information and support to help people live as independently as possible. They are making a difference for tomorrow, accelerating progress in research and driving the campaign for access to emerging treatments.
