Shooting Star are a leading children's hospice charity supporting over 700 children and their families, throughout Surrey and across 15 boroughs of London, 365 day a year.

My own company, Ensono, have proudly supported Shooting Star for some years now, through charitable events, overseas challenges and general fundraising.  This is my small contribution to the cause.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices supports babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions.  Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, they are there to make every moment count. They support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement, with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

As a charity, they need nearly £10m a year to support these children and their families.  £27,000 a day. 10% is contributed by the Government.  The rest is up to us.

I have been lucky enough to visit and see for myself the incredible care that these hospices provide.
