Story
I wasn't much of a runner before uni, but really got into it during lockdown and whilst working on my placement year.
I love park running, particularly trying to catch my brother (as in the photo), and going for loops around beautiful Bath, so thought the Bath Half was a nice Bath bucket-list goal before the end of uni!
My faith and hope in Jesus motivates every decision I make and has given me a passion for serving people in the city of Bath. I wanted to run for a local Christian charity as a result.
My small group from St Matt's have donated to the Nest Project Shoebox appeal each Christmas I've been in Bath. So I have been aware of their brilliant work, but it was through a random conversation with a friend that I heard that the Nest Project was looking for volunteer runners. I immediately was up for this, as it is such a great cause to run for.
Please give anything you feel able to. Everything makes a difference to the children and families' lives that the Nest Project supports.
