Story

Dear friends

One of the four mitzvot of Purim is that of giving Tzedaka - charity - that reaches its recipient on the day of Purim itself.

This year, we are collecting funds to distribute within our own community to households that have taken a financial hit over the last few challenging years. We invite you to contribute to our fund, which is used exclusively for this purpose, and which is distributed in absolute confidentiality by the Rabbi on the day of Purim.

Funds that are not distributed on Purim are used throughout the year to support members of our community who experience any form of financial hardship - whether that is accessing medical or mental health services, living or consumer expenses, educational expenses etc. Please donate what you are able; from as little as £10 you will have performed the mitzvah of Matanot Le'evyonim.
