Story
The National 3 Peaks Challenge is a physically demanding event which involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, all within 24 hours.
The three mountains are Ben Nevis in Scotland (1344m), Scafell Pike in England (978m) and Snowdon in Wales (1085m) which we will attempt to climb in less than 24 hours during September to raise funds for The Neuro Foundation.
The Neuro Foundation’s vision is to improve the lives of those affected by Neurofibromatosis. Everyday a baby is born in the UK with Neurofibromatosis. There are over 25,000 people in the UK affected by the condition and as yet, there is no cure.
We have chosen to support this Charity because one of our colleague's daughter was diagnosed with this condition last year and they have provided practical and emotional advice to help the family find the best services and support available. They enable people to make choices about how they approach and live with neurofibromatosis.
