Story

completed in10.45. actual walking time near 10 hours. that's a pretty good time. I took a GPS route so I will share that in due course. thanks for the support.

I am one of the Barclays Techies behind the ATMs which handle millions of transactions every day! We are teaming together to test ourselves while raising money for some fantastic charities. On Friday 9th August we are going to attempt to walk the 3 peaks of yorkshire for our individual charities.

I have picked the Macmillan Cancer Support as it has had such an incredible impact on my family as close members have battled cancer.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks are arranged in a triangle, with the River Ribble and two minor B roads between them. The total walking distance is 39.2km (24.5 miles).
The Yorkshire Three Peaks includes, usually in this order, Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, before returning to Horton in Ribblesdale. The challenge is to complete this within 12 hours.

I would be grateful if you could help me raise some money for this fantastic charity.
