PLEASE NOTE: THE EVENT IS MOVED TO SEPTEMBER 2021
Many of you know that I am a keen walker. Being outdoors is such a fantastic way to relax, connect with nature and socialise with others. So whether it's for a couple of hours, a day or a week, time spent in the great outdoors is something that keeps me going! The Ramblers are quite well known, but it was only more recently that I became more aware of their political involvement to keep paths accessible for everyone, something I so often take for granted. With that in mind I would like to contribute to their work and have signed up for the Brecon Becons Trekfest 19th September. 15 miles of up and down - definitely a challenge for me, but one I happily take on because it's worth doing. Will you support me?
Here's what the Ramblers say about themselves:
As the Ramblers is the UK's walking charity, we know that walking transforms lives, which is why we work tirelessly to ensure we continue to improve walkers' rights and protect the places we all love to go walking. Thanks to our generous supporters, we've successfully campaigned to open up some of the most beautiful parts of Britain. Through group led walks, our staff and volunteers have helped thousands of people across the UK to improve their physical and mental health by connecting with nature and green spaces.
