Story
I have taken on a personal challenge to raise money for St Dunstan's, the national charity for blind ex-Service men and women. Between October 2010 and November 2011 I'd like to raise £10,011 in my "Ten to Eleven" campaign. Although I currently live in Brittany in France I am originally from Todmorden and so have been very active in trying to organise events and raise awareness of the great work St Dunstan's does, not only in it's Sheffield centre, but across the UK.
On 14th October I climbed the 560 steps of Spinnaker Tower to raise money for them - the feeling of personal achievement was fantastic, and even more so knowing that the money I raised (around 600 Euros) will help more blind heroes.
