Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Strictly is coming to Corby! I’ve been busy learning the Waltz, Cha Cha Cha and Quickstep to raise money for Lakelands Day Care Hospice in a Strictly Come Dancing contest.

Lakelands is an independent charity committed to delivering the best possible practice and development of specialist palliative care for people with cancer, heart failure and other life-limiting illnesses.

I’m representing RS Components and I’ll be joined by nine other ‘celebrity dancers’ from local companies. We’ve all been very busy practising our dance moves for our big night on Friday 21 October, when we’ll be performing in front of an audience of more than 300 people and a panel of judges. I only hope Craig Revel Horwood won’t be there!

Learning all the moves is extremely challenging but I’m looking forward to dancing under the glitter-ball and having some fun on the night. Let’s hope the competitive spirit kicks in!

It would be wonderful if you could support this worthy cause. Please be as generous as you can and Lakelands and their patients will be so very grateful.

Making a donation is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
