Fundraising for Disasters Emergency Committee
Story
On the week beginning 28th of March, Balfron High School will hold a number of Staff vs. S6s lunchtime events. Staff and Pupils will make a small donation in order to play these events.
On Friday the 1st of April Balfron High School will have a non-uniform/wear blue/yellow day to school. We recommend a donation of £1 which will go to out chosen charity DEC. The Disasters emergency Committee, an umbrella organisation, made up of 13 different charities, working together to upscale their response. The money raised will contribute towards those displaced and fleeing from their homes, to provide safe water, food and medical assistance as well as care.
If we collect:
£30 - Could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month.
£50 - Could provide blankets for four families
£100 - Could provide emergency food for two families for one month.
