We are raising money for our special church to further our work of welcome and care

Story

We are delighted to say that our Bakhita Project at St Chrysostom's has reopened after being closed due to Covid restrictions. The project helps trafficked people through funding English classes, creating a welcoming affirming place, accepting donations of clothing and food, and meeting emergency need.

The project is a dedicated part of St Chrysostom's work for the community and especially those in great need.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for the project.

The project is named after St Josephine Bakhita who was trafficked as a young woman and who today is the patron saint of the trafficked.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to St Chrysostom's Church - 'earmarked' for the Bakhita Project. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
