Story
In December 2006 our son Alex contracted meningitis and died when he was five weeks old. Meningitis Research Foundation provided us with support and information when we most needed it, and we will always be grateful for the listening ear on the end of a phone.
In the weeks following Alex's death, friends and family were generous with their donations in his memory. Fundraisers and collections were held, and together we raised more than £5,600 for Meningitis Research Foundation.
Almost 12 years later we still miss Alex every day. His twin brother Josh, and younger siblings Evie & George, have asked to raise money for Meningitis Research Foundation in order to celebrate his life, and so we have re-opened this page to enable them to do this.
Our children have now read the messages left by friends and family all those years ago and are as moved today as we were then. Thank you for supporting, donating, caring. We are so very grateful.
