As you've probably seen or heard, we're celebrating back to school week at L&GMH by having 'school meals' week in our canteen! To go alongside this, we are hoping to raise some money for Feeding Britain in order to ensure more children around the UK don't go without their meals at school.

You may not be aware, but already 800,000 children living in poverty in England do not qualify for free school meals (according to the Child Poverty Action Group). This number is expected to rise.

As energy bills are rising, even more parents will be forced to choose between whether to have electricity and heating, or food for their children. 

We hope by raising money for Feeding Britain we can help prevent more children going hungry, and Legal & General will match the donations we raise on here and in the office. If you're able to donate anything at all, it's going to a good cause.
