Story
BLESMA is the national charity for limbless serving and ex-service men and women and their dependants and widows. It is the charity that directly supports all our service men and women who lose limbs, the use of limbs or eyes or the sight of an eye in the service of our country. BLESMA is with them all whenever they are needed for the rest of their lives.
BLESMA's work is about life after amputation. Their work is about life long welfare support, about campaigning for what they deserve and about being there when old injuries come back to haunt. The youngest BLESMA member is 19 and the oldest is 99.
We are being supported by ACE Cafe http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/ who have offered us a time and date in their calendar on Sunday 30th September 2012. We are also seeking support from the Motorcycle Press.
The BLESMA Old A5 Run will start at Holyhead and run the length of the Old Roman A5 (several sections re-numbered) to Marble Arch London via the ACE Cafe. The Run will be open to any 2 or 3 wheeled vehicles (any cc) or any specially adapted vehicle of any type. You can compete the entire run, part of it or meet us at our stopping points (TBA) for a short Sunday ride out.
So please donate a minimum of £10 (per motorcycle) and email cindy@pathfinderbiketours.com with your contact details. Also please keep watching the Pathfinder Bike Tours webpage for further details.
