Story

BIMM Bristol's Masters students are hosting a livestream to showcase the diverse talent of our course-mates.

Given the difficulties faced by those employed in the creative industries right now and the governments recent decision to discontinue free school meals throughout the holidays; we're asking that anyone who tunes into this event (and likes what they hear) might consider donating to the Matthew Tree Project.

The Matthew Tree Project is a charity which works within the Bristol community, empowering those who have been through crisis and helping them rebuild their lives. Not only do they supply food weekly to economically vulnerable people, but they also lead workshops on nutrition and healthy eating on a budget, following a more sustainable "teach a man to fish..." ethos. You can find out more about the project at the-matthew-tree-project.org

As a student body we would like to thank not only anyone who donates, but everyone who views our livestream. We would also like to thank the Matthew Tree Project for facilitating such important work in our community. As creative students in Bristol we interact with and benefit from this beautiful city's support system everyday and hope to be able to give back through our craft.
