Hi All!

BIMM London crew - Jax, Sabina, Izzy, Ro, Nick & I are climbing 1000 vertical meters up the O2 for charity! That’s 1km of height. Taller than The Shard, the Eiffel Tower and even the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. The Burj is only a mere 828m high…. 

The Challenge

Climbing The O2 as many times as we can, as a team, within a
3 hour time period. Climbing up and down the south side of Up at The O2, we will climb 48 metres each time to the roof of The O2. Once the whole team have reached the top, we will return back down the same way to the start platform. 

This process will then get repeated as many times as we can face within the 3 hour time limit (with a minimum of 20 times!)

Why would we do this??

To help to change lives through music therapy!

Your sponsorship could help pay for a Nordoff Robbins music therapist one day a week for a year at a school for young people with learning difficulties, or at a care home helping elderly people with dementia for example. 

We have had Nordoff Robbins into BIMM several times and we are always blown away with what they do and how they change lives with music therapy - it would be great to give a little something back!

Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people. It supports thousands of people in its own centres and by working in partnership with a wide range of organisations including care homes, schools and hospitals. When delivered by a trained practitioner, music therapy can be used to support people living with a wide range of needs. It can help a child with autism to communicate, reduce anxiety for those living with dementia or provide comfort and celebrate the life of someone facing terminal illness. Music therapy can be life-changing for so many people.
