We have selected the Isabel Hospice as the Club’s charity this year.

This is a personal choice by the Women’s Captain after she lost a dear friend to cancer two years ago.

The Isabel Hospice provides support and care to people in Eastern Hertfordshire who are affected by life-limiting illnesses through their Hospice at Home, In-Patient Unit, Community Team, Living Well with Isabel programme and their Family and Bereavement support service.

They have also expanded their services to support more people with non-cancer diagnosis and their Living Well programme has allowed them to reach people much earlier in their diagnosis, supporting them to manage the challenges of living with serious illness and long term conditions.

All the services are free of charge to those who need them, but they are not without cost meaning they must raise £7 million every year to guarantee the future of their care.
