Cancer is something that affects many people either directly or indirectly.  At BFP we support different charities each year and in 2019 we have decided that we will challenge ourselves to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.  We sadly lost a friend and client in September 2018 to pancreatic cancer, so it feels right that we should support such a worthwhile charity this year.

Now to the details of the challenge.  On Friday 21st June the BFP team are going to walk  from Cleeve Hill to Broadway Tower, covering approximately 20 miles of hilly and rough terrain.  Our aim is to  arrive at the tower in time to see the sun set and remember those that have not been fortunate enough to beat this awful disease.

This is quite an undertaking for us and we have already started our training plan.  We would be very grateful for any sponsorship.  We will be keeping our page up to date with our training progress.  Thank you in advance for any  support you are able to give us.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
