Rita Chadha, Chair for Barking and Dagenham CVS is participating in a 5km run/walk to support SJS Awareness UK.

The BDCVS's State of the Sector survey shows that most local charities are small and volunteer led,  and often leading a hand to mouth existence. Rita chose to participate in the Barking and Dagenham Run4Life charity event to fundraise to support any local charities nominated for the event.

The funds will be used to promote SJS Awareness UK's "Are You Aware?" project  through awareness workshops aimed at educating members of the local community on Adverse Drug Reactions including SJS and TEN.
