BATS are fundraising for SpotlightUK, a charity that is close to us both geographically and in its sentiments. 

SpotlightUK is also based in Basingstoke and its mission is to help increase confidence and self esteem in children and young people as well as providing emotional and practical support  to hundreds of children and young people across the area every year. A strong arm of their offering gives children the chance to grow in confidence through drama, dance and singing, a cause which is naturally very close to BATS’ heart.

We chose to sing ‘You Will Be Found’ from Dear Evan Hansen and with the help of RHJ Entertainment we have done our first virtual recording of a 4 part harmony! We picked this song because it felt relevant both to our cause of raising money for SpotlightUK as well as the wider mental implications of the lockdown and closure of theatres.
