Water is the essence of life. Clean water quenches our thirst. It provides our food, our sanitation and our health. 

Yet, despite its widespread abundance across the earth, there are millions who suffer every day without the blessing of water. 

In the West African nation of Togo, over 60% of people do not have access to clean water. A quarter of the population must also travel at least 30 minutes on foot to find any. Moreover, only 5% of households are able to sterilise their water before drinking it. 

However, we can change that. With the help of Wafa Relief, we can build a new water well in an impoverished village of Togo. We can provide men, women and children with safe water to drink, to grow their food and to change their lives. 

A well costs only £1500 to build and will provide water for over 300 people. That's 300 people that you can change the lives of for the better.
