Currently I am a student of knowledge of Zuhri Academy and Alhamdulillah Zuhri Academy has bought a new building to open a masjid for all the people in the community. Zuhri Academy will be providing Alim, Alima and Sanatain courses, maktabs for children, crèche facilities, gym facilities for ladies and gentlemen, separate prayer rooms for the ladies and children, psychological therapy to help those in need and much more In sha Allah. The building has been recently bought and Zuhri Academy are currently needing donations to help pay off the building so they can continue to grow. The masjid will be open to all people in the community and will be easily accessible at all times.

Sadaqa benefits the believer not just in this life but the next.

Sadaqa averts calamity and increases sustenance and blessings in one’s life. Allah says in the Qur’an, “Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned,” (Qur’an, 2: 245).

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi). He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqa: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).
