Hi,
My name is Ayda.
I'm a 6-year-old who loves art and nature.
I am sharing drawing videos of animals of the rainforest to raise awareness to help protect the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation because it is under great risk and losing the rainforest would have catastrophic effects on our entire planet. Meaning:
Less water to drink,
Fewer plants for future medicinal cures,
Fewer trees to fight climate change,
Fewer wild places,
Less air to breath,
Not only is the Amazon a biodiversity hotspot, but it is also home to a wide range of indigenous groups. Over 400 tribes, each with a distinct culture, language, and territory, continue to live in a largely traditional manner, relying on these forests for their survival.
The Amazon is reaching a tipping point where it will no longer be able to generate its own rainfall and support its ecosystems. Scientist predicts if deforestation continues as is we’ll lose this life-giving part of the Amazon forever.
Please join us in protecting the rainforest and protecting our planet!
Thank you!
Ayda
