So as I've now hit 45 last January, I'm now embarking on my most ambitious fundraising project to date:

"The Former Radio 1 Roadshow Tour"-taking in 25 holiday resorts (20 to visit in Summer 2017) they hosted the world famous events, "live" on Radio 1, back in Summer 1988 (July to Sept).

As I won't be doing such "roadshows", my aim is to travel to each resort across the UK, ranging from the South East to Wales and even taking in Lands End (Cornwall) as a bonus venue, which will follow my visit to John O'Groats (Highlands-Scotland) last December.

I will be using all available resources, planning, mental stamina to travel to, stay in with impeccable timing, using all available transport facilities, i.e. trains and coaches

I'm looking for my campaign to take in an array of activities with Cancer Research UK teams across the UK with someone like me who volunteered for more than 1 Race for Life in the North and Wales, as well as in my hometown of Leicester. Any supporters of the charity would be more than welcome to come and meet me in the resorts to lend support.
