Story
There is no better cause that showing support for those who have lost mobility or suffered disability in the line of duty - and that's what we want to do with our drive up the country.
After rescuing an Austin Allegro from doom and restoring it, the dream has been to drive the historically famous Land's End to John o'Groats route. From the day we picked it up to now, we have witnessed the terrible acts our army have had to deal with in order to keep us safe within our own country amid growing unrest abroad.
Rather than just set off without purpose, we would love to use the drive to spread awareness of the dangers our forces face overseas - and the often crippling after effects when back on home soil, while raising funds into the deal.
You may look at this and wonder about the challenge - we aren't jogging the distance or attempting to break a world record, for instance - but with so many breakdowns and challenges to face getting such a vehicle over 1600 miles, we aim to spice things up a bit. For every time the bonnet has to be opened or the Allegro has to be halted due to overheating or bits falling off - we'll donate £15 on top of what is raised.
