Story
Hi everyone :)
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my page!
I have been fortunate enough to be selected to spend 4 weeks teaching Maths to secondary school students in Accra, Ghana this July!
I will be going with the organisation Warwick in Africa, which for the last ten years has been working in partnership with some of the poorest schools in Ghana, Tanzania and South Africa, transforming the way in which Maths and English is taught. We aim to use education as a direct route to liberation from poverty.
I am raising money to help to invest in the longevity and further development of this programme, ensuring that in years to come we can keep going back to these countries to teach these subjects to disadvantaged young people. I need to reach a target of £1000 by June and I cannot do that without your help! All donations will go directly to the charity.
Any amount will be appreciated and will contribute to transforming the life of a young child, helping them to reach their full potential. A little goes a long way! Help us to educate them and lift them out of poverty, help us to change their lives forever.
Remember... "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela
