After 14 years of struggling to beat cancer, my father-in-law William Bailie lost his battle a couple of months ago. This sad loss was not only felt by his immediate family, but by his many friends. He asked me if I could raise much needed funds for the Macmillan Cancer Research Charity, so that a cure may be found and that others could survive this terrible disease. Naturally I said yes!

After some thought, I believe that Movember was the way forward. So, I will be attempting to grow a moustache for 30 days, and will keep all of you posted with regular updates on my progress.
