Story
Hey Guys,
Thanks for taking the time to read our page.
Raleigh International run expeditions in Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and Tanzania for individuals and groups of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds. Volunteers work on sustainable and worthwhile community and environmental projects alongside young people from the host country and local skilled workers. Volunteers will also undertake a tough adventure challenge. All our volunteer expeditions are designed to be challenging, life-changing experiences.
A group of volunteer managers from the very first expedition in Tanzania this year - 13B Raleigh Tanzania our getting together to canoe across Scotland to raise money for the Home Country Volunteer (HCV) Programme. We aim to raise £1000 to help towards our HCVs equipment for example rucksacks, torches, sleeping mats, mess tins, water bottles etc.
We start canoeing on the 2nd August 2013 from Fort William. Our end point will be in Inverness on the 5th August after 4 days of many challenges on the Caledonian Canal.
We would be very grateful for any donation that you can offer to help us reach our target of £1000 in the next few weeks.
Currently Raleigh Tanzania 13I are midway through their expedition! If you want to read about their projects and experiences please feel free to have a read of their blog on http://www.raleighinternational.org/ri-blogs/raleigh-tanzania
