On 3rd July 2010 Ashley House Plc is entering a team into the 2010 Marie Curie Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

Ashley House is proud to be a corporate supporter of Marie Curie and in taking part in this challenge hopes to provide further support to this worthy charity. Ashley House is providing transport and accomodation for the event.

Employing more than 2,700 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals, Marie Curie expect to provide care to around 29,000 terminally ill patients in the community and in their hospices this year, along with support for families.

They mainly care for people with cancer but they also care for people with other life limiting illnesses. Their services are always free of charge to patients and their families.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 26 mile walk that takes in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The team is aiming to complete the challenge in 10 to 12 hours...!
