Hey guys

My girlfriend Joanne entered me into the Sheffield Marathon as a "Christmas Present" Cheers Jo. Throwing me in at the deep end I've always done a bit of running, BUT this is a totally new challenge for me.My Dad was a keen runner and did this marathon which is why I wanted to do it aswell, he also did the London marathon but dont be getting any more ideas JoJo!!

As everyone who knows me I have set this up a little last minute, I am doing this run for The Cavendish Cancer Care charity, this is a GREAT cause.

It helps people dealing with the loss of family and friends through cancer.It has certainly helped me and my family through hard times, and I would like to raise money for this charity.

You can all help and show some support.I don't really have a target amount, anything you can give will be much appreciated.
