Story
So most of you probably don't know, but in Feb 2013 found out that I had skin cancer which came as a complete shock to both me and my family. Thankfully, the cancer was contained in a mole which was completely removed and (fingers crossed) I'm going to be ok. Unfortunately, not everyone gets diagnosed with cancer in it's early stages, and not everyone is as lucky as I have been. Cancer in young people is becoming more and more common, so I have decided to run the London Marathon this year for Cancer Research to encourage other young people (and old!) to be more aware about cancer.
Selfishly, I didn't tell too many people about the cancer. I now realise how important it is to let people know what has happened and to encourage people to check themselves regularly!
I don't know how I'm going to complete the marathon yet, its scaring the crap out of me!! But I do know that I will need all the support I can get! My target to raise is £2000, so any donation that you can give will be massively appreciated.
