Change begins... with a bicycle
For girls like Nawalat, bicycles are more than a means of transport – they are a way to break the cycle of poverty.
This year, you can be a part of the change that is happening – for Nawalat and for families and communities like hers around the world.
As many of Ashbourne Methodist Circuit's churches will not be able to support Harvest Festivals this year, we hope that we could still be able to give to help the work of supporting people locally and overseas.
Our morning service (online) on Sunday, 27th September, led by Steve Haines, will be a Harvest Service for the whole Circuit.
In Ashbourne, we have traditionally supported the work of All We Can financially and brought goods for the local Foodbank. You can donate to All We Can using this website.
At the moment Ashbourne Foodbank are not needing any goods donated from Harvest Services, but would welcome financial gifts instead - details for donating to the Foodbank are in the September Connections magazine.
Donating to All We Can through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
