Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This is for our mum Sheila Charlesworth who lost her life to cancer 25 years ago, aged 53. She left behind 4 boys, Bradley, Fraser, Gregory and me, Ashley. Oh, and the amazing grand kids she never got to meet.

She had everthing to live for, a chance to sit back and enjoy life after the challanges of bringing up a large and demanding family, sadly that wasn't to be.

It's been a long journey, and if i had accepted the help offered by Macmillan at the time, maybe the journey would have been easier. I would like others affected by cancer to get all the support that they need.

This is why Brad and I have taken on the London to Paris challenge and will be cycling 470km to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support. We have been training hard and are looking forward to 4 days in the saddle (and a glass or two of vin rouge in Paris) please give generously. Here's to life, here's to love, and here's to you.
