Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm running for the Stroke Association in memory of my recently deceased mother-in -law, Joan Hopkins. In spring 2011 she suffered a massive stroke which changed her from a very independent person to one who was totally dependent on the care of others. She continued to be a very loving grandmother and Rhian and Alex could always bring a smile to her face. As a family we know the impact a stroke can have, not only on the person affected but also on their friends and family. Local Stroke Association key workers gave our family advice and support when we needed it. Now I want to give something back so please donate and support the work of the the Stroke Association in supporting those affected by stroke.
