Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I first heard about this challenge last year when Nigel told me he was in training for the big walk! Feeling like I needed more time to prepare, I told Nigel I would take part this year instead of last year...when Nigel emailed me shortly after New Year to remind me, I had to join him to start training...I did my first big 'ish' walk last weekend and can safely say after walking 20 km last Sunday I didn't want to move much for the following few days! Haha...I'm looking forward to the 2015 challenge (and still reluctant about bathing my feet in surgical spirit to prepare! Haha).
Sadly, I do have a hereditary eye condition in my family which means I need regular eye tests and face the possibility of waking up one day and being blind...scary...
I want to support people who are facing challenges with their eye sight so please help me raise money for them.
