Story
After having survived a really serious accident back in 2013 in which I was badly injured, I was faced with two challenges. The first one was to overcome any possible post-surgery complications and make it out of the hospital in good health and the second one was to get back to my sports routine the soonest possible. This was a target I set and was able to achieve with sacrifice, determination, hard work, and perseverance. Nine years later, I’ve set myself another target, to take part in the ‘Ironman’ in Klagenfurt, Austria on July 3, this year.
I am working at the Ocean Technologies Group which provides learning and technology solutions used by the world seafarers; I felt this would be a great opportunity to help raise some money and support these key workers, who, despite their unexpectedly extended working hours during the pandemic, they’ve managed to successfully transfer more than 90% of the goods worldwide while being away from their families.
The money I raise will go to ISWAN ( International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network ) to fund their valuable initiatives.
I would be grateful if you could contribute to this initiative in any
way, you can. Any donation will be valuable towards accomplishing this cause.
A big thank you to the Ocean Technologies Group who is supporting this initiative.
I would appreciate it if you could support my participation.
