Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So what am I up to? On Monday the 12th August 2013 I shall be flying to Copenhagan and then, after a ten hour wait, I shall fly to Kangerlussuaq in Greenland and from there, I go by car to the foot of the Russel Glacier where I shall start my adventure. The aim is to hike the length of the Arctic Circle Trail in Greenland starting from the foot of the glacier to the eat of Kangerlussuaq and finnishing at the sea near a settlement called Sisimiut. This will involve wild camping and hiking across approximately 200 km of Arctic tundra. This is one of the most isolated long distance walks in the world. There are no opportunities to restock with food so absolutley ecverything I need will be carried on my back. It will all be worth it though if, in the process, I can raise a few quid for Help the Hospices. Please donate if you can or at least leave a supportive message on my blog (see below). Thank you.
