Event: Insurance Day of Giving 2020, on 5 November 2020
On Thursday 5 November, the insurance industry is uniting against dementia. Together, we can fund the vital care and support for people living with Dementia today.

Story

Under Arc Angels, our corporate responsibility programme, Arc Legal Assistance are pleased to support the IUAD in the fight against dementia through 'Insurance Day of Giving' on the 5th November.

There are currently around 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK; this is projected to reach 1.6 million by 2040.

The recent coronavirus pandemic has left most of these people cut off from the vital networks and loved ones that support them to perform everyday tasks and routines. In some cases, social isolation can irreversibly accelerate their condition.

Last year, the Insurance Day of Giving raised an amazing £100,000, and this year aim to double the target to £200,000 for vital services, so that support can be given to even more people affected by dementia.

Insurance Day of Giving is a chance for the insurance sector to unite for a day to fundraise and raise awareness of dementia. Please pledge your support, however, big or small as every donation counts.
