Story

Hi to all family, friends and anyone who is reading this.

I am trying to raise funds for my granddaughter Arabella who is in need of a Timband ( helmet ).

After seeing a specialist this week, she was diagnosed with plagiocephaly ( flat head syndrome).  This is characterised by a flat spot on the back of her head and an irregular shape to her face and skull.   The helmet is not funded by the NHS and the cost of this treatment is £2575.00.

As Arabella’s case is classed as severe, she will need to wear the helmet for 6 months.   There is only a short time limit in order to correct Arabella’s problem as it needs to be done before her skull hardens, without this I fear it could cause problems in the future like misaligned facial features or problems with her confidence.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and any monies raised will be gratefully appreciated.  I am asking you all for a donation no matter how small in order for us to help Arabella and feel reassured for her future.
