Over 14 years ago, my husband gave me a family Y membership for Christmas. I loved being able to take our three and four year old with me when I used the Y. Less than a year later I became a Y employee. All three of our children have been "Y kids", learning to swim, playing sports, attending summer camp, and volunteering for so many great causes. At the Y, my husband and I have played indoor volleyball, sand volleyball, wallyball, racquetball, tennis, pickleball, run races, and more. The Y offers something for everyone. What I love about working at the Y is connecting and supporting people in so many ways. My passion is helping people with special needs, gardening, and sports. No donation is too small. Every dollar helps those who cannot afford a full price membership to flourish at the Y. The money donated to my page will support people with Special Needs.
