Everyday in the UK seven young people are told that they have cancer.

Over the past few years I have joined a wonderful group of trekkers in the Himalayas,  the Andes,  the Topes de Collantes, Burma and most recently the Sahara Desert, in order to raise money for the amazing Teenage Cancer Trust. Having missed out on last year's trek, I am raring to go again, and in November I will be trekking in Namibia. From its parched desert (the worlds oldest), with some of the highest sand dunes in the world, to the fascinating geology and dramatic landscapes of the Brandberg, this trek is going to take us through a land of extremes.

You have always been so generous in the past by sponsoring my treks and I very much hope that you will consider helping me to reach my target again this year.
