Hi everyone I have decided to take on this challenge as I wanted to give something back to Candlelighters  who have been great in supporting my son Josiah.

Nearly 3 years ago to the day of the marathon, Josiah had a seizure at school and never had one before. We thought it was a knock on effect from my granddad's death which had happened a few days before. When we eventually had a MRI scan we found out that Josiah had a brain tumour. This was a great shock to all!!

We were told about Candlelighters and the support they could give Josiah and us as a family and he absolutely loved it. He had an operation to remove it just over a year ago which wasn't 100% successful but he is doing great so far. He will continue to access Candlelighters now that we are back from being abroad. We can only thank them immensely for their efforts to everyone that goes through their doors.
