I am lucky enough to have been chosen by Barnardo's to run for them in the London 2018 London Marathon.

For those who know me well, the thought of me running a mile let alone over 26 would have almost laughed at me! Two years ago I was 3 and a half stone heavier than I am now, and turned to running as alternative exercise. I loved it and have not looked back....

Barnardo's is close to me.

I am adopted and was a Barnardo's baby so have experienced first hand what a difference they make to children's lives giving them a chance and also for the adoptive parent's lives.

Adoption is just a small part of what Barnardo's do so I am fundraising for a great Children's Charity.
