Approx.7 years ago our Mum Bridget showed symptoms of Dementia, early Alzeimers . This was the start of a long challenging journey for our family. All eight of us dealt with it in our own personal ways but our sister Kate rallied the family by taking Mum into her home pouring her with love, compassion and care. We all learned so much from Mum about the illness and shared with her a library of beautiful personal moments that are now treasures in our life. Mum showed us what courage is all about and the ingredients of our family DNA. She also adopted two more sisters into our family, Denise and Nina. The support we received from Home instead homecare , doctors, medical staff at Waterford University Hospital was a wonderful inspiration to us all. Mum passed away peacefully on Aug.30th this year surrounded by her loving family.  We were truly blessed on our journey and thank God for his children, He put in our path.

We want to reach out and offer help to other families coming behind us. Let's talk and raise awareness of this illness. Togeather, we can ensure our treasured children don't face this challenge. 

I am completing all parkruns in R.O.I. ,a total of approx. 600KLms, I do it in memory of Mum and the patients whose lives it impacts.I appreciate your time and support to ensure our Alzeimers family voice is heard.  Anthony ♥️🙏
