In the past 12 months 5 family members have passed away. 4 of these are to cancer, 1 specifically to a woman's cancer. It's horrific seeing the effect of this disease on both the individual and everyone around them. Cancer doesn't discriminate,  it can touch anyone. If cycling for a few hours can help prevent a cancer or help someone affected by it, it's a very small sacrifice  on my part.  I dedicate this to my mum-in-law, Maureen Clements.
